It is a delight for me to have a comeback event participation(aint i sounding like some self proclaimed celebrity ;) ) for a Srivalli event :)… it seriously is , Sri has always been my idol for dedication and no-lazyness life… 3 kids, a job and 2 blogs, and what not, i salute you Sri, i seriously do, i see this lunch box idea floating everywhere and my first lunch box memories are associated with you, you were the one who started it.. kudos lady. 

I noticed your Cookie Mela thingy a while back and as usual the lazy me was procrastinating, and given today is the last day, here i am . I love this blogspace, had this not been there, i would have never jot down all my recipes… never ever. Sri , this meal thingy was also started by you only na :) .. well this blog post is dedicated to you, The Mela Queen. My 2 cents to the cookie meal, the quick and simple Nutella double chip Cookies. 

Deviled Eggs with Caramelized Onions and basil pesto

When i started following Foodgawker a few months back, i was addicted to it, it was the source of inspiration for any experiment and i was glued to the app for hours during my travels or loo-times or don't know when-all, i just had to have a more than 2 mins slot with my mobile and there it was, always, foodgawker. That is when i discovered Deviled eggs, during the Super bowl times, when almost everyday an average of 2 deviled eggs recipes were there. And i used to wonder, when will i get the chance to do something like that, and suddenly there were so many occasions when i should have stirred up some quick snack as the boys were having some cricket or tennis match on. Well i was lazy enough to offer only store bought wafers or sometimes generous enough to stir up something. Wimbledon Finals, the much awaited one , where our dear Federrer was going to create history again, was the aptest time to try out deviled eggs. And wow, the dip was amazing. Yes i didn't go the classic, mayo, mustard way, coz i didn't have them at home, but what i stirred up was a real hit, especially as a dip. I have made this dip earlier and was relished by my kiddo cousins. So here goes the recipe.

Chatkhor is Back!!

Hellos everybody... if we have somebody reading this... :) yes iam nervous... :) the chatterbox for most of my blogger frens.. is nervous coz i am out of the habit of posting... well blogging.. arrgggghhh... i dont even remember the terms now.. :D well i guess iam just nervous.. i remember the terms but iam just trying to get myself into the flow.

28th september was the last when i posted on this blog, open it really very often, but somehow, work, life, L.A.Z.I.N.E.S.S had taken over me... and i had stopped blogging... but the love for food was intact infact it started growing intense, coz i had started learning so much more, the internet had started growing so much more deeper, look for anything and some great blogger has some great recipe sitting somewhere. How cool is that. I have never searched for recipes on generic sites, i make sure i search for it in blogs, coz off course, they are the tried and tested sources.
